With the further development of information technology,internet of things technology,and artificial intelligence technology,the global manufacturing industry has ushered in new opportunities for development and has gradually shifted from "production-oriented manufacturing" to "service-oriented manufacturing".Cloud manufacturing is a brandnew manufacturing concept and manufacturing model developed on the basis of the concept of “manufacturing as a service”.It provides centralized management and utilization of decentralized resources,and realizes the coordination and sharing of manufacturing resources.At present,research on cloud manufacturing mostly focuses on virtualization of resources,matching and optimization of services,establishment of cloud manufacturing platforms,and key technologies.On the cloud manufacturing platform,various types of services,distribution of remote resources,and dynamic demand changes,this is consistent with the virtual manufacturing cell application scenario.Therefore,this paper applies the virtual manufacturing cell to the cloud manufacturing environment,and conducts in-depth research on the two key issues of the construction and scheduling of the virtual manufacturing cell in the cloud manufacturing environment.First of all,this paper expounds the concept and characteristics of cloud manufacturing,and applies the virtual manufacturing cell to the cloud manufacturing environment for some practical problems faced by cloud manufacturing,and reviews the current research status of cloud manufacturing and virtual manufacturing cell.Secondly,according to the characteristics of cloud manufacturing environment,the traditional fuzzy C-means algorithm is improved from two aspects of distance function and effectiveness evaluation index,making it applicable to the virtual manufacturing cell construction problem in the cloud manufacturing environment,and through calculation examples,the validity of the algorithm is proved.For the virtual manufacturing cell constructed in the previous step,a virtual manufacturing cell scheduling model in the cloud manufacturing environment is established,and the improved discrete particle swarm algorithm is applied to the scheduling problem and the effectiveness of the algorithm is verified by calculation examples.In the end,the full text is summarized and the future research direction is prospected.
