In the severe market competition pressure,all kinds of traditional media of our country have marched toward the road of media integration.The news media industry is also deepening in the new media era.Under the impetus of technology,the forms of expression of news products are highly integrated.Texts,pictures,and videos together form a complete journalistic work in the report.The news reported by each media covers all aspects of politics,society,and entertainment.Such a change seems to have improved the business level of the news industry,but it is actually difficult to increase the competitiveness of the media itself in the industry.With roughly equal technical capabilities,news products generally provide comprehensive content that means that the differences between different media are difficult to express.From a marketing point of view,the media's own positioning is blurred.In the media market competition and media integration,both traditional media and new media are exploring the road to development.Since 2016,many social media have increasingly favored the advantages of traditional media in content production,and the Internet has gradually become a trend.Under this circumstance,the traditional media in transition needs to create a unique positioning and strengthen the differences in its own products.The Chongqing News Newspaper Group has established APPs such as upstream news and slow news developed by different teams.Among them,"Slow News" was created by the Chongqing Evening News editors and editors.The Chongqing Evening News began its digital transformation in 2014.It first launched the digital report under the support of Peking University Founder and launched Chongqing after the support of Qihoo 360.The Evening News App,once on the line,became the first app in 360 downloads for local mobile phone assistants.However,the comprehensive but not outstanding Chongqing Evening News App has been unable to cope with the competition of the current mobile news app.To cope with the more fierce news client competition,the slow news rebuilt by Chongqing Evening News has emerged.Since December 2016,in the short period of six months,“Slow News” has won the first place in the Tencent Region?s official media account for the regional media QCI(comprehensive assessment of media communication and influence)in May.This achievement is inseparable from the clear and unique media positioning of “slow news”,which is suitable as a sample of media positioning and practical research.The positioning of “slow news” effectively integrates its available resources with the advantages from traditional media to create a unique media image and seize a place in the mobile news market with the unique competitiveness of humanistic content and service.Research shows that the traditional newspaper industry has transformed its role from an information communicator into a consumer social life participant and a discusser of social phenomena or issues in the process of moving to the mobile client market,which is more in line with the current development trend of the media market.It is easy to meet consumer expectations for news media in the new era.In the transition,the traditional newspaper industry not only needs to learn advanced technology in a timely manner to enhance the hard power of the media in news reporting,but it is even more urgent to focus on the scale of positioning change,to rationally retain the excellent blood originating from traditional media and to integrate new media reporting methods.In terms of fresh blood in this area,this measure lies in the media's expectation of a new orientation after the transition.The process of media transformation is not a process of turning from one point to another,but it is a process of continuous advancement along with social development,technological progress,and market changes,but only a relatively clear transition goal will emerge within a certain period of time.Among them,urban retribution insists on sustainable development,enhances its economic efficiency and influence,makes more long-term plans,and combines its own characteristics to create more modern and differentiated positioning.
