Knowledge network is available for the creation and transmission of knowledge. And knowledge flow and transmission can especially be achieved in a special domain when it comes to domain knowledge network. But in the research of traditional knowledge network,it is mainly constructed by dominant and the author's subjective informations such as the title, abstract and key words. It reflects the knowledge information transmitted from the author's perspective and it cannot reflect the information obtained by the audiences.Citing behavior is an active behavior by the audiences after reading the documents of the original author.Citation from the process of citing has been always regarded as “being useful” by referrers who, based on their own academic ideas and norms, choose something “useful” by reading, screening and selecting from relevant literatures. Therefore, citation content, always telling implicit information hard to obtain from those explicit information such as the title and the abstract, becomes the most direct connection between citing and cited literature.Based on the above, studies on citation content can be helpful to the finding of implicit information from the explicit and thus can fully reflect its value and role.Under this background, this paper, based on citation content, tries to make a study on digital humanities, extract citation keywords, and thus construct the knowledge network of digital humanities at abroad. The article uses “Digital Humanities” as the topic to search in the Web of Science and gets the research documents in the field of Digital Humanities,as core reference set. Then outputs the cited records of the documents.Based on the records,it outputs and downloads the citing documents as the citing reference set.Meanwhile,it tries to make a reference set by selecting highly cited core references form core reference set and download relevant references according to relevant information, which is thus helpful to form such a citation flow: reference set ? core reference set ? citing reference set. Then based on the relationship between the citing documents with the cited documents. It extracts the cited context in the citing documents from the cited documents and the 50 words near the citing mark are defined as the citation context. After that the article uses LDA topic identifying model and the weight of word frequency to extract the keywords in the context. The original key words in the cited documents are used as the cited words and the keywords in the citing documents are used as the citing words.Based on the citing relationship between the documents, then it transfers the citing relationship between words and in the end constructs a new citing network in the field of digital humanities. That is,it tries to construct a citation network by making original keywords from the core references as the cited and keywords from the citing references as the citing between core reference set and citing reference set,and keywords from the cited texts from core references as the citing and original keywords form the references as the citied between highly core reference set and reference set.The article explores the spreading and flowing condition of knowledges in the field of digital humanities from multiple perspectives. This paper tries to construct a novel knowledge network by making keywords from citation content as network nodes, going deeper from explicit knowledge to the implicit, thus provides the original citation network more abundant information.Meanwhile,it is also helpful for researchers in digital humanities to know the knowledge system and flow situation at abroad, and thus find out what has been ignored in this field.
