Research On The Key Technologies Of Convertor Station Inspection Robot

With the smart grid and energy internet put forward and development,the construction of intelligent convertor station has gradually become the core of the smart grid.The traditional manual inspection of substation will be difficult to inspect the equipment accurately and security.With on-line monitoring technology development,many kinds of on-line monitoring devices has been widely used in the power system,and it improve the reliable of power grid equipment operation effectively.But it faces the problem of economy and efficiency in the fast application of the scale.The substation inspection robot with many inspection devices inspect the equipment globally and wide-area,which can improve the efficiency of substation inspection effectively,and it is a development trend in the inspection and diagnostic technology of substation equipment.An inspection system for substation robot is designed and the principle of temperature measurement of infrared thermal image is introduced in this paper.The inspection robot with infrared camera visible light camera CCD inspect the substation high-voltage continuously in the way of autonomous or remote control.A set of wireless communication system is build based on the multi-bridge network,which protect the communication between the robot and the base station.A set of monitoring software system is developed in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0,which we can get the infrared image.we debug the module of the robot respectively,and we find some shortcomings in the testing process.We depose the infrared image from the robot by using the image processing technology,the fault area of substation equipment is segmented successfully by the improved genetic algorithm.The identification and positioning of the fault location are established for the inspection robot system foundation.In summary,this set of inspection robot system guarantee the operation of power equipment,which has a broad market and a strong value for using.
