In the 1970 s,along with the spring breeze of reform and opening up,China's economic management book market began to grow,and with the deepening of reforms and economic development,it gradually became a scale.In recent years,on the one hand,with the rapid economic and social development,the demand for economic management knowledge by social and economic agents has become more and more urgent,which has promoted the development and expansion of the economic management book market.On the other hand,the expansion of the market for m anaged books has brought advanced economic management knowledge,ideology,and skills to the society,providing powerful theoretical guidance and methodological support for China's economic development and social reform.The rapid development of the management and publishing industry of books and books has brought about increasingly fierce market competition,and various problems have emerged in an endless stream.First,homogeneity is serious.Or repeated publication,or follow the trend of publishing,or the same kind of topic books to get together and publish,the topic is nothing new,the mutual substitution is strong,and there is a trend of proliferation.Second,the quality is uneven and "false books" are rampant.Either the content is not rigorous,the logic is not strict,and there is no rigorous academic research;or it is the industrialized product of “ scissors + paste + filler processing”,and there is no innovation.Therefore,the analysis of the topic selection characteristics of the best-selling book on economic management,on the basis of summarizing the laws,proposes the countermeasures for the economic management book market,and has a strong practical significance for promoting the healthy development of the economic management book market and further promoting the economic development.This article is divided into six p arts.The first par t is the introduction.It i ntroduces the research background,research significance,research object,literature review and research methods.The second part has combed the development history of the management books market.The third part analyzes the development status of the best-selling books on economic management,including market size,reader groups,publishing units,and existing problems.The fourth part analyzes the topic selection characteristics of the bestseller from the four aspects of subject matter,content,author and publication form.On the basis of the fourth part,the fifth part analyzes the reasons for the success of the best-selling book selection from both internal and external factors.Finally,it proposes the direction of the sel ection of best-selling books: accurately grasp t he economic and social development trends,which help accurately determine the direction of the topic;refuse to follow the trend,and dig deeper into market segments;use big data to accurately capture readers' needs;discover a nd cultivate authors of best-selling books on economic management;adhere to content as the king and build publishing brands.The sixth part is the conclusion,a summary of this article.This part also points out the deficiency of this article.
