Topological control technique is one of the key techniques in Wireless Sensor Network(WSN),its main function is controlling the network to form a perfect network topology under the certain network connectivity and coverage.This technique makes WSN complete the communication tasks of the Network and prolong its life cycle with the least working nodes and the lowest transmitted power.ZigBee technology is a typical short-range wireless communication technology with low cost,small size,low power consumption and low speed.This paper focused on the ZigBee wireless sensor network topology control.Taking the ZigBee WSN as the background,this paper studied the existing Topological control technique and optimized the existing algorithm,as well as designed a location-based multi-hop backbone topological control algorithm and a topological control system applied with B/S structure to display the final topological structure.The main research achievements were as follows:Firstly,we studied the related topological control techniques of ZigBee WSN,and in view of the excessive energy consumption of the single hop after clustering in the WSN and the ZigBee coordinator communication.We designed a location-based multi-hop backbone topological control algorithm with taking the energy consumption,unbalanced network energy consumption caused by the geographical location of nodes and short life cycle.When selecting the communication route of cluster head,the algorithm divided the whole area into several radial fan-shaped areas centering on the base station,then the cluster head determined its fan-shaped area through the geographical location and found the last cluster head directing the base station in the same area,thus formed the CHMH to communicate with the base station.All these could alleviate the excessive energy consumption resulting from the large distance between the cluster head and the base station as well as finally achieve the purpose of balancing the network energy consumption and prolonged its lifetime.Secondly,the OPNET simulation tool was used to make a simulation test for the algorithm in this paper and the result shows that compared with the LEACH,this algorithm had clear advantages in balancing energy consumption of network nodes and prolonging the network lifetime.Finally,a topological control system applied with B/S structure was designed,so that we can read the data of wireless ad hoc networks and store them into the database.At last this platform displayed the cluster head multi-hop backbone topological structure based on the algorithm in this paper.
