The Research On "News Visualization" Of DT Finance And Economics

In the era of big data,faced with vast amounts of information and data,the traditional way of news production has gradually lagged behind the development of the times.The application of data visualization in news reports will also become a key technology for media development in the future,especially in the field of financial news closely related to data,which requires us to pay more attention.Due to the highly specialized and obscure features of traditional financial news,it also has a predictable conflict with the fast reading habits in the new media era,which directly affect the communication effect of financial news.This paper mainly analyzes the news visualization practice of DT Finance from the aspects of topic selection and classification,data sources and types of visualization.This paper selects “DT Finance”,a new data and financial media under China Business Network,as the research object.Through content analysis,comparative analysis and other research methods,the paper classifies the visual news articles released by DT Finance from May 2016 to December 2017,and also demonstrates the data visualization practice and the tendency of consumerism that emerged in news reports.The study found that DT financial visualization forms are rich and varied,and personalized customization is the highlight and feature of its visual experience.Secondly,as a commercial media,DT Finance is influenced by content orientation and commercial factors,and its visual works have a clear tendency of consumerism in the the written language.in addition,the authenticity of the data source and the objectivity of the report contents of DT Finance are also questionable.At the end of this paper,I put forward my own thinking on DT finance and economics.I believe that in the current environment of rapid media development,media practitioners should not only build various media skills and data use capabilities,but also must possess and maintain critical thinking and correct news value guidance at all times in order to create news works that are popular with the public.It is of certain reference value to the transformation and development of media and the improvement of reporting methods in the new era.
