The LCD optical film used for LCD is a series of optical sheets used in the backlight module of LCD flat display technology.Its application effectively solves the problem of low utilization efficiency of the light source,and effectively increases the utilization ratio of the light guide plate from less than 10%to more than 90%now.With the development of liquid crystal display technology,high-definition and thinning have become the characteristics of liquid crystal display technology.The optical sheet used in the backlight module also develops in the direction of thin,multi-functional and compound.In this paper,the multi-function double-layer composite brightening film used in high-definition ultra-thin liquid crystal display has been studied.(1)The influence factors of the brightness of the composite film were studied.The composite brightening film was prepared by the method of preparing the film in laboratory.The control experiment was designed and the LightTools optical simulation software was used to aid in the analysis of the PET substrate,the Pitch size of the prism,the angle of the top angle of the prism structure,refractive index of prism glue and the bonding layer.It was found that the influence of PET substrate on the brightness is through the transmittance,the pitch size had no obvious effect on brightness and the angle of the prism was the best at 90 °.The effect of the higher the refraction index of the glue,the higher the brightness,the smaller the angle of view can be.(2)The DOP(Diffuser on Prism)composite film was manufactured according to the results of the brightness influence factors of the composite film.Then we tested the new product and compared with the existing products in the market,the properties of the composite film were comparable.(3)During the manufacturing process of the double layer composite brightening film,the lamination process results in a loss of 5%?10%of the brightness of the laminated film compared with that of the unbonded film.The simulation results show that the thickness of the laminate layer occupies the height of the prism is the key to reduce the brightness.By thinning the PET substrate and increasing the prism pitchs,it can effectively reduce the loss of brightness and increase the central brightness when the total thickness of the sheet is invariable.A new type of unequal prism is designed to ensure the integrity of the low prism by sacrificing the high prism shape so as to reduce the loss of brightness.(4)Using LightTools optical simulation software to design and simulate the new composite structure.The simulation structure is MOP(Micro-lens on Prism),WOP(WBEF on Prism),ROP(RBEF on Prism).The new composite structure is modeled by software.Meanwhile,compared with the existing POP(Prism on Prism),DOP on the market,the light transmittance of the two kinds of composite structures is compared.Central luminance,visual angle,luminance uniformity and chromaticity inhomogeneity are used to evaluate the properties of novel composite films display features.The simulation results show that the display parameters of the new composite structure are good,compared with the display characteristics of the POP structure with high brightness gain and low angle of view,and the DOP structure with large angle of view and low brightness gain.The new structure is more balanced for the improvement of display effect,and the new structure also has the additional optical function of reducing the poor coupling of wet-out and moire fringes.
