In the current information development environment,the information resources on the Internet are becoming larger,and the role of information retrieval is prominent since it is the primary way for people to acquire knowledge quickly.Although the current mainstream information retrieval system is engaged in continuously improving algorithm,there exist certain limitations to meet users' real need due to the lack of attention to users' cognitive psychology and the lack of interactive ways to assisting users' cognitive expression.The user's demand psychology and cognitive behaviors are quite complex,how to construct the retrieval system which can effectively promote users' demand expression and cognitive development is one of the key problems in information retrieval research field.Guided by the constructivism theory,this study reveals the essence of information retrieval is a process in which users actively construct meaning,and identifies the decisive factors that determine the quality of information retrieval are the process of assimilation and adaptation.Thus,giving full consideration to the user's cognitive structure and the development of cognition,this paper puts forward an interactive information retrieval model taking account of the knowledge mining layer,the user cognition layer and the cognitive interaction layer as the top-level analysis framework.On the basis of the micro-decomposition of model's functional modules,the paper deeply analyzes the cognitive interaction relationship between the core elements and designs an adaptive interactive knowledge map.It aims to create rich interactive ways to support users' exploration and learning of information space and help users build thorough cognitive structure in the end by helping them better master core concepts and the relationship between concepts.Further,on the basis of the prototype system implementation of the model and through comparative experiments with CNKI,comprehensive research methods such as the sounding thinking method,concept map method,and interview method are applied to analyze users' external behavior performance,intrinsic concept change and cognition change during the retrieval process using the quantitative and qualitative analytical method.Finally,it proves that this model can more effectively support users in exploring information space and developing cognition.The contribution of this study is mainly reflected in the following two aspects.On the one hand,the interactive information retrieval model under the perspective of cognition construction proposed in this study is based on the theory of constructivism and integrates systerm-oriented and cognitive-oriented information retrieval research paradigm.It enriches the theoretical system of information retrieval and further deepens the research perspective and feasible path of the cognitive information retrieval model.On the other hand,this study fills in the research gap of the existing cognitive information retrieval research from methodology to practical application.This study is a powerful attempt to practice research on cognitive information retrieval models.
