The concept of pervasive computing originated in the early 1990s.The fusion of information space and physical space in pervasive computing can be embodied in different scales,and it is a manifestation of smart space in the scale of rooms and buildings.However,after more and more research on smart space,the problem of the definition of space in smart space has gradually emerged.Smart space is not just within the scope of a single room.How to give clear and reasonable definition of smart space,A complete intelligent space model is designed to enable users to move across rooms and request resources seamlessly,taking into account both low latency and high computing power,and become the focus of researchers in smart space.According to the definition of the existing smart space standard,this paper gives a more reasonable definition of smart space based on the problems in the actual research,and proposes the concept of a smart unit that can provide unique services based on location and facility characteristics.A software layered model of the smart unit was designed,each layer was described in detail,and the effectiveness of data preprocessing was verified by processing of the COPD measurement data.At the same time,the relationship between smart space and units is introduced through the description of the agency mechanism and service request process.Finally,the experiment simulated the intelligent monitoring system in the COPD home care system.The camera data processing module was deployed in the smart space and the smart unit,and simulated different numbers of smart units to compare the delays under different configuration strategies.Network Usage and Energy Consumption The main research contents and contributions of this paper are as follows:(1)Given a clear definition of smart space and smart unit,and designing a software layered model of smart unit,it consists of a total of four layers:a sensing layer,a network layer,a data center layer,and a service layer.The smart unit is responsible for sensing data acquisition,heterogeneous network conversion,data preprocessing,data storage,etc.Smart space provides basic services.The intelligent unit agent requests the basic service from the smart space.The agent is divided into two parts:the user authentication agent and the resource call agent,and the basic service table and the unique service table are proposed.(2)Using the COPD home care system as an example,the availability of smart unit with infrastructure was verified.According to the actual situation of the COPD family unit,the sensor device network is divided into an environment network composed of Zigbee devices,a body area network composed of Bluetooth devices,and a therapy network composed of Wifi devices.Tri-network integration was implemented at the network layer and abnormal data removal and data fusion were performed at the data center layer.It was verified that the smart unit can preprocess the heart rate data collected by the COPD family unit and fuse it into a highly accurate data.Bandwidth,storage pressure.Describes in detail the login authentication process for users moving between home and hospital unit,and the request flow for invoking case resources and inter-unit call case resources within the unit.Finally,the experiment proves that the camera data in the intelligent monitoring system has better processing delay,network usage,and smart space energy consumption than the processing in space in the smart unit.
