The new network technologies and network application advancement,the higher performance of network about QoS are required for latency and packet loss.Today's applications are basically based on UDP and TCP protocols.Traditional TCP/IP transmission network cannot meet the demand for quality of service over network in some cases.It's necessary to adopt new mechanisms to filling network resources and improve performance,and to satisfy the customer's service in different network environments.Another protocol,i.e.Stream Control Transfer Protocol(SCTP)provides new ways to improve network performance.One of the main features of SCTP is Multi-path,which allows the connected ports to bind more than one network addresses,and allows the sender to send them recipients through different routes.SCTP multi-path feature allows the SCTTP Multi-path transmission network to improve the network's strength through switch failure mechanisms.Because there are many new features in SCTP compared to TCP.The SCTP is mostly IP-based network,and depends on the network address more than the multi-housing feature.While the IP network itself is a single-way network,which has limited impact on multi-path communication,depends on the IP network,according to the improvement of SCTP performance is limited.Vector Network VN is a new data communication network with factory architecture,and it is based on the vector address that is based on the third layer of the OSI model-network layer.Vector gets a new switching mechanism in a new addressing method called vector address.The vector network presented the concept of "vector connection" and"vector switch",and based on the vector address to design the new network features.Factor features of the vector network,and conversion addresses and identification address separation.In principle,compared to the ATM network and the IP network,your security,bailout,address in the vector network is uncertainly sables,simple switching equipment,network operating and other benefits.Vector Network is a secure,reliable,controlled and supported network that is capable of bearing QSS and is free of charge;it is a new network system in the context of the next-generation network.Multi-path feature VN itself determines that it has better support for Multipath transmission compared to the IP.In this paper,the structure of the SCTP protocol,the features were analyzed,and the performance of the IP-based SCTP protocol has been explained.On this basis,the Vector Network's unlimited values,safety,advantages of light connection,we further forwarded the SCTP idea supported by the VN network.This paper provides a way to scan several modes and to obtain data resulting in transferring data instead of standard SCTP mode.In order to enhance the Multipath transmission network QoS,this paper proposes to detect the error and improve the processing mechanism of error,and further progressive routing methods.
