Electrostatic discharge(ESD)is a phenomenon that two objects with different electrostatic potential get close to each other or direct contact with the charge transfer,which can result in high voltage and strong electric field,the instantaneous large current and also accompanied by strong electromagnetic radiation interference.The ESD phenomenon can produce a large and high frequency electromagnetic field near the discharge point.The electromagnetic field will enter the device under test through the coupled radiation and cause irreversible damage to the electronic components.In the electromagnetic compatibility analysis of printed circuit board,the coupling mechanism can be analyzed,which can be used to determine the cause of electromagnetic compatibility problems in the printed circuit board in order to optimize the printed circuit board design.However,the phenomenon of physical mechanism is very complex,prone to happen no convergence phenomenon within the high frequency.The use of traditional modeling studying methods are hard to achieve success.So the coupling relationship between electrostatic discharge and the device under test for effective modeling method research has great significance.This paper based on the principle of S parameters to simulate and verify the process and the influence factors of transmission line pulse.It sets up the actual TLP generator and builds the different kinds of coupling which can simulate electrostatic discharge circuit model of the different probes.The first part is the introduction portion,which recommends the research basic,the international actuality of the subject and the organization structure of the work.The second chapter introduces TLP transmission line theory,generating principle and TLP generator circuit structure.The results obtained from the test are given.According to the principle of TLP,the actual model of TLP generator was set up.The output waveform of TLP was obtained by simulation and experiment.In the actual measurement of TLP,the rise of rectangular pulse is Ins and the waveform is of good quality.Then MATLAB software is used to simulate the test.The influence factors of the TLP generated by the simulation results show that different length of transmission line TLP pulse width is different.Reduce the stray inductance and capacitance of TLP can make rise time shorter and more conform to the requirements and improve the shape of the pulse waveform.The third chapter describes the method of building the coupling circuit model of magnetic field probe and electric field probe.Firstly,the test incentive probes is designed,the circuit being measured of which is using simple circuit.Secondly,the network analyzer test different excitation probe and part of the electronic circuit coupling S parameters.Thirdly,according to the ADS simulation of the S parameter data and the S parameter data obtained by the experimental test by using ADS software's optimization function to analysis and complete the modeling of the extraction of the stray circuit component parameters.In the fourth chapter,the actual test results are compared to the output response of the model and the output response of the measured circuit,and the correctness and superiority of the probe design and coupling model are verified.In the fifth chapter,antistatic capacitance is added to the test circuit,and the protective effect of the capacitor and magnetic bead is verified by simulation.In addition,it provides a recommended scheme of capacitance selection for improving the electrostatic discharge protection performance of the circuit.It also provides a convenient choice principle for the practical test when the fault needs to be solved.In this paper,the model of the second port S parameter conversion of the probe and the measured circuit is given.For the characteristics of matching network,it is very good to adapt to the condition of high frequency.It means a lot to extract element parameters.But further research is still needed.
