At present,the main features of integrated circuit(IC)technology development are characterized by smaller feature size,bigger wafer size,higher integration and frequency,lower supply voltage and power requirements,faster IO pins transmission rate.At the same time,the design technology of digital IC and the supporting hardware and software also have a rapid development.For the characteristics of So C chip and audio and video system,this thesis,carried out the research of audio and video system,related module design,embedded software and hardware development and verification work,based on the subject“ development and application of So C chip in multi-mode navigation and positioning mobile information terminal”.In order to solve the problem of the miniaturization of multimedia system,the thesis carreid out the audio and video system design and FPGA verification of So C chip based on independent intellectual property rights,including OSD module,video decoding module,audio interface module,etc.Using software and hardware co-design technology,A clear division of functions was made between the video decoding module and the driver software.This system has the characteristics of high integration,which all the sub modules and peripherals are integrated in So C.In order to make sure the embedded system based on the So C chip running normally,Linux operating system based on Autonomous So C was transplanted.The operating system transplantation included operation system bootstrap program transplantation,operation system kernel transplantation and file system making.In the boot program section,the general bootloader was refined into three segments by two segments,and cleared each segement's work according to this system.In Operation system kernel transplantation,the code structure which was related to the hardware was mainly studied,also the clock,console,interrupt and the system' time had been transplanted.On this basis,the development and transplantation of video and audio driver were carried out.The drive part had a high efficiency code execution and better coordination with the kernel and the underlying hardware,using Linux's latest platform and alsa architecture.Finally,the SoC verification platform of audio and video system was carried out,and the advanced and correctness of this design had been confirmed.
