Research On Archival Thoughts Of Pei Tong

Pei Tong is the pioneer and leader of archival business in New China,and is one of the "Three Old" in archival society.For half a century,he has worked hard for the archives cause,led and witnessed the development of Archives in New China,he formed a series of archival thoughts in the archival work practice and academic research.A comprehensive and systematic study of Pei's archival theories can enrich the system of archival study in China,study and summarize the development status and characteristics of archival cause in new China,excavate the deep value contained in his thoughts,and provide an effective reference for the contemporary archival society.At present,the research on Pei Tong and its archival thoughts is little and not comprehensive and profound,in order to comprehensively study Pei Tong and its archival practice and thoughts,this article uses research methods which is the historical research method,the literature analysis method and the practice investigation method,collects the introduction,commentary and recollection of predecessors,teases the archival practice of Pei Tong,and analyzes and researches his anthology and all related books,academic articles and other documents,so as to sum up his thoughts and combined with the previous evaluation,highlighting Pei relatives of their evaluation,and then comprehensively and profoundly summed up the excellent qualities of Pei Tong.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction,including the research summary,the research significance,the research questions,the research approaches and the methods.Through the early data collection and research,analysis of the current status of research,thinking about the significance of the study and putting forward the problems to be studied and the methods available for research,so as to confirm the necessity and feasibility of research on Pei's archival ThoughtsThe second part is Pei's archival work practice and character evaluation.Combined with the background of the times,this paper expounds the practice of his archives work,including his work from doing party archives to researching archival work and the history of the party,from collecting archives to providing archival utilization,from assisting Zeng San to studying Zeng San.This paper expounds the evolvement and development of his archival work practice,and raises a level of his practice and thoughts.And then sums up its excellent qualities by the evaluation of predecessors and relatives to deepen the understanding of Pei comprehensively and objectively.The third part is archival theories of Pei Tong.This is divided into five parts.The first is definition and distinction of several concepts of archives,materials and information;the second is the guiding ideology of archival work,which includes overcoming conservative thoughts,increase production and practice economy,serve the general route and use the mass line.The third is the archival business management thoughts,including archival acquisition and collection,document management,archival arrangement,archival promotion,archival utilization and archives resource development;The Forth is the archival academic research thoughts,including historical research and academic research on archives;The Fifth is thoughts of cultivating archival talents which is the qualities that archivists should possess,including establishes the archival philosophy view,establishes active service thoughts,sets up correct thoughts and the style and strengthens the comprehensive specialized qualities training.The forth part is times feature and value revelation of the archival thoughts of Pei Tong.The times feature includes being guided by Marxism-Leninism and Maoism,combining theories with practice,learning the Soviet Union and having Chinese characteristics;and the value revelation includes the ideas of serving people and archival cause,combining theories with practice,working methods with the times and hard work,and the personal style of working with interests.By summarizing the times feature and value revelation,the author hopes to provide reference and guidance for the development of archival work.The fifth part is the conclusion.This paper puts forward the author's two points of view on the reasons of Pei's few archival studies,and sums up the research contents and methods of the main part of the paper,points out the bright spots and deficiencies in the paper,and forecasts the realistic significance of his value of thoughts.
