Research And Design Of Security Mechanism For WLAN Based On WPA/WPA2

WLAN(wireless local area network)is becoming people's furst choice as its convince access to internet,and high rate of transmission in the modern days.except the convince the WLANprovide,it also bring many security problems.Because of the WLAN use electromagnetic wave as its transmission medium,and the medium has the character of open,the hacker can capture the communication data packets in a certain distance,so the security problem of the WLAN has always been suspected.How to solve the problem of security communication in WLAN is the key technology restricting the WLAN's healthy development.This paper mainly discusse WLA's security problem from two aspects,the data encryption mechanism and security authentication access aspect.In the aspect of data encryption,encryption and deciphering mechanisms of protocol are discussed,including WEP protocol?WPA protocol and WPA2 protocol focusing on the point of the RC4 algorithm,and aiming at the defects of encryption mechanism a FMS attack has been finished successfully and deciphered user's password.The WPA/WPA2 protocol in data encryption are modified,remedied the WEP protocol vulnerabilities,the security problem is not exciting,But through the analysis of the mechanism of encryption and decryption of the agreement found in the certification will reveal that the user access to the key information,pose a safety hazard,and using the dictionary attack successfully cracked the user's password.It's focus on defects of the 4-way handshake protocol and two improved methods were proposed 1.Anonce encryption methods;2.message 1 integrate check method,and also the proposed methods security problem are discussed.For the lack of security and efficience problems in the 4-way handshake,a new improved protocol is proposed,the 2-way handshake protocol,and the new protocol's security problem is also discussed,And its application in rapid switching,by comparing the discovery after the improved 2-way handshake protocol can be appropriate to reduce delay and improve the performance of the network,and can largely avoid Dos attack,and improve the security of WLAN.
