With the development of the communication and the growth of bandwidth,the age of LTE-5G comes from 2G and 3G nowadays.At the same time,FULLIP is more popular than the original combination of voice and data in mobile business.IP will be the tendency in the near future.There are many traditional problems in transmission,such as high cost,waste of resources and the restriction of bandwidth,which limit the growth in bandwidth.Therefore China Unicom develops IP Radio Access Network(IPRAN)to solve these problems.IPRAN is more flexible and more stable than traditional transmission.In addition,IPRAN can meet the needs of bandwidth in mobile business.Firstly,the background of packet transport network and its research status and development in China and abroad is introduced in this thesis.Secondly,the whole design of IP Radio Access Network and the protocol of the network such as ISIS,BGP,MPLS are researched in this thesis.At the same time,aiming at the key business of the IPRAN communication network,such as TDM/ATM business and ETH data,the specific arrangement is made in this thesis.Thirdly,several common faults in IPRAN network are analyzed and corresponding protective measures are adopted in detail.Some performance tests of the IPRAN network are also made,including 2G TDM business and 3G data protection tests,the Quality of Service(QoS)priority tests under various scenarios.The test results and analysis are given.Finally,the summary is given and the development of PTN in the future is prospected.
