With the advent of 4G era,IP trend of the network is already unstoppable,IPRAN as the representative of the packet technology came into being,and IPRAN network of high reliability has become the focus of the industry。In this case,BFD from the beginning of the birth has been a great concern in the industry organizations and companies。BFD as a network reliability detection protocol,provides a protocol-independent millisecond-level fault detection mechanism,and it can be linked with other protocols to achieve carrier-grade service switching time within 50 ms,Therefore,the BFD technology and IPRAN networks can greatly enhance network reliability。In this paper,Design and Implementation of BFD IPRAN bearer network,First,according to RFC standard protocol document outlines the principles of BFD protocol,message format,session mode,state machines,and session establishment procedures,etc.,for the BFD design provides a theoretical basis。Then IPRAN equipment module and a brief introduction,the overall structure is analyzed from BFD,using a centralized processing architecture designed for BFD,Secondly,we discuss the relationship between the BFD module as a new module with the existing modules,and keep as an independent inter-module。While the BFD module is divided into a plurality of sub-modules designed to block a timing chart of the process flow and important details of BFD module interior design,and introduces important data structure。Next comes the design BFD collaboration with other modules,fault detection is proposed based on the architecture BFD to improve fault detection rate.Finally,verify the correctness of the BFD module through functional testing,validation linkage BFD module with other modules to meet the switching time of 50 ms carrier-class services within the performance test.Currently,the results of this research has been to meet the telecom operators testing standards.
