China is vast and the energy distribution is not balanced,at the same time,along with the improvement of people's living standard,power demand is larger and larger.In order to connect the energy center and load center effectively,power grid transmission capacity must be promoted and the application of large capacity transformer soars.Due to the service area of large capacity transformer is wide,once fault happened,its political and economic influence is huge,so how to ensure safe and reliable operation of the transformer become an important research subject.There are many factors that can influence the safe and reliable operation of the transformer,such as insulation withstand ability,anti-short circuit ability,insulation aging condition,etc.This article will research insulation aging by using the method of control transformer winding hot spot temperature rise.The computational analysis software of hot spot temperature rise developed in this paper provides an effective analysis method to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the large capacity transformer.This paper has stated the factors that influence the temperature rise of hot spot and life time of transformer,and separately study and compare the current hot spot temperature rise numerical calculation,Guidelines recommend method and Thermal path model calculation method,and make a conclusion that the routine analysis hot spot temperature rise is hard to reflect the actual condition of hot spot temperature rise of power transformer.This paper,based on the HotTempterature language,using Delphi developing platform,fully considering the heat dissipation forms of heat conduction,heat convection,and heat radiation and factors that influence the hot spot temperature rise,edit the hot spot temperature rise calculation software,and update the hot spot temperature rise calculation software package.It is proved by comparing the hot spot temperature rise value to that of this software of two units 500kV transformer fiber that the calculation of this software is accurate and practical.Based on the calculation software package of this paper,this software will be applied to the hot spot temperature rise of the single phase transformer with capacity 1000MVA.By comparing the actual tested temperature rise value,it is found that the actual hot spot temperature rise value is lower that that of the software,which again prove the reliability of the calculation software,and the quality of product is guaranteed by this technology.At the end of this paper,it has summarized the results achieved by the application of this software to the calculation and control of hot spot temperature rise,and made foresee for the future study of the development of this software.
