The world's population is ageing rapidly.This demographic shift will result in societal burdens while significant healthcare market.Portable sleep monitoring is an important link of healthcare.The intrinsic of sleep monitoring is the monitoring of physiological signal which can provide the function of sleep staging,analyzing the quality of sleep,and diagnosing disease.A review of portable sleep monitoring equipment or portable physiological signal monitoring equipment is firstly presented in this paper.It is pointed out that the portable sleep monitoring is moving toward non-invasive direction.Non-invasive sleep monitoring is the way that implanting force senor in the mattress or pillow to monitor heart beating and breathing which can be analyzed via some algorithm to judge the condition of sleep.This thesis focuses on the application of PVDF in non-invasive sleep monitoring.A set of sleep monitoring data acquisition device is developed which can monitor respiratory and heart beating,and these signals are uploaded to PC through the serial port.At present the charge amplifier accepted as the signal conditioning circuit has some problem.Medical theory of non-invasive sleep monitoring and basic theory of piezoelectric sensors are introduced,then relationship between electrical output and mechanical input of piezoelectric sensor in d33 pattern is derived.By analyzing common signal conditioning circuit,a new design of signal conditioning circuit is proposed.The hardware part and software part of the sleep monitoring data acquisition system are constructed.The hardware part is composed of signal conditioning module based on JFET,MCU module based on STM32F103,AD module based on AD7791,lithium battery charging and boosting module based on TP5410 and Bluetooth wireless communication module based on HC-05.The software part is composed of AD drive and MATLAB serial communication program.After the completion of the system design,the validation of the system is verified through experiments.
