This design is based on Graduate innovation project of Jilin University (2014107)and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (2012T50276).As an early marker of metabolic disorders, breathing and heart rate and otherphysiological signals largely extent reflects the cardiopulmonary function of thepeople, which important to people’s early disease prevention, such as sleep apneasyndrome (SAS). There are a number of studies show that the disease have closerelationship with arrhythmia, which directly lead to cardiovascular disease. Peoplelong-term suffering from the disease, their cardiovascular, kidneys and other tissuesand organs will be damaged. Clinical observation of patients mostly through breathingand heart rate parameters to observe the human heart and lung function, but the longtime use of ECG electrodes to measure will give patients a sense of discomfort. Heartis like a constant source of vibration, along the elasticity of blood vessels, pulse wavepropagation in peripheral the energy form, which may loss and make the amplitude ofpulse wave decreases, but does not affect the pulse frequency, so the pulse wavefrequency in radial artery is consistent with heart rate.In this paper, according to the laws of the human respiratory and pulse movement,took use the characteristics of piezoelectric material such as high mechanical strength,softness is not brittle, impact resistance, easy processing, breathing and pulse sensor isdesigned. In order to improve the sensitivity of the sensors,"double arch" structureand "shell" structure are designed as breathing and pulse sensor substrate. To obtainclear cardiorespiratory responses from the sensor probe, hardware filter circuit isapplied for further data filtering. Relative cardiorespiratory signal parameters such asrespiratory cycle (RC) and heart rate (HR) could be displayed by LabVIEW.After compared with commercial sensors system and the same type sensor, resultsshow that the sensor monitoring system could detect respiratory and pulse movementacutely, and cardiopulmonary signals parameters are extracted successfully such as respiratory rate (RR) and heart rate (HR). The rang of respiratory rates and pulse ratesare16-44/min and20-25/min respectively, and the measure precision of respiratorywave and pulse wave are1%and2%. The monitoring system is wear comfortablely,no binding and could perform signal of the human body for a long time monitoring,meet the patients’ need of breathing and pulse signal monitoring during the sleep,developed plat for human respiratory signal analysis and diseases of the warningsystem.
