With the rapid development of science and technology,the different kind functions of sensors are widely used.In the control system of the present intelligent vehicles,sensors play a key role,no sensors is no modern car.However,at the conventional braking system,as the traditional engine intake manifold is insufficient to provide enough required vacuum to maintain effective braking force and it can not be adjusted to meet required vacuum at any time according to its condition.Therefore,the vacuum pump is used to provide the brake booster for the required vacuum.For this reason,the new sensor is designed to meet the need for detection of vacuum pressure and combines with the vacuum pump to supply the vacuum brake.The main research paper completed as follows:(1)Compared with two kinds of mature sensors on the market,some of their exterior design and parameters of performance is analyzed and studied?In detail,based on the study of existing vacuum pressure sensors' structure,the shape and internal structure and fixture and so on of the new sensor is designed according to the actual needs,and then completed the three-dimensional model of the new sensor design.(2)According to the measuring requirements of the vaccum sensor,the vacuum pressure sensor chip of the sensor is selected and defines the form of the sensor and builds the corresponding output of the model.Chip integrated circuits,signal processing circuits,amplifier circuit,filter circuit,A/D conversion ciruit,et al are designed based on the selected characteristics of the MPXV6115V6U chip.(3)VMQ material is chosed as the housing material of the sensor according to the optimal performance;and measuring deformation of the diaphragm should be met within the measuring range of the pressure into a linear transformation,based on this principle and requirements of the work environment and the measurement,a stainless steel diaphragm is chosed as this sensor the measuring diaphragm,and a detailed description of the stainless steel isolation diaphragm design principles is given;and early failure and performance degradation mechanisms of the senor is analyzed.(4)To verify the design of the new sensor performance,the test system is set up,and then specimens vacuum sealing and unsealing performance are test under the constant temperature environment results,and the test datas and the theoretical datas is analyzed,it shows that the specimens basically meet the actual requirements.
