With the development of the IoT(Internet of Things)and the popularity of intelligent terminals, there are more and more mobile applications for IoT.Today,Internet of things, with the combination of intelligent terminal greatly promoted the development of the Internet. On the one hand, the development of the IoT provides a lot of data and materials for terminal application. On the other hand, the development of intelligent terminal provides a new thought for IoT.For the intelligent terminals, they can also be regard as a sensor,so they also provide a broader data coverage for IoT.However, the absence of a unified framework makes it not easy to develop the terminal application in for IoT quickly and reliably.Intelligent terminal applications combined with the IoT have its unique characteristics. The RESTful service, which is widely used in the development of IoT,has the requirements and constraints of resources interface, data cache and so on;it should be adapted in terminal applications. On the other hand, the terminal application also meets some issues with itself, such as hardware limitations, the inner sensor interfaces that are different with external REST interfaces. Those make limitations in loose coupling, extension or efficiency for applications. The IoT terminal in this paper mainly refers the application terminal such as intelligent mobile phone or tablet PCs.Based on the RESTful services we designed software architecture in iOS using Objective-C that provides an efficient,loose-coupled,and highly scalable terminal design. This framework cannot be only applied to the IOS platform but also provides some guides for some other terminal platforms such as Android.
