As a new kind of encryption component,Physical Unclonable Function(PUF)is becoming more and more concerned by researchers,in which the memory-based PUF realized the generation of the response(key)by using the inherent random difference of the memory cell.And because the response(key)only exists when the power is on,it is a good solution to the problem of key storage in the traditional cryptographic.But the cost of memory-based PUF increases exponentially with the increase of the bit of responses.So how to reduce the overhead of memory-based PUF is a problem worthy of study.In addition,the traditional PUF provides only a static Challenge-Response behavior,so that it is vulnerable to CRP access attacks.Therefore,how to design a secure PUF structure is also a research topic in this paper.Aiming at these challenges,this paper's research is based on the reconfigurability of the Memristor-based Physical Unclonable Function.The main work includes the following two aspects:(1)This paper presents a model of experimental analysis of memristor:Memristor which has a good Process Variation and possesses non-volatile property,higher storage density and capacity can be used to form the PUF.Therefore,it is necessary to establish a model of experimental analysis of memristor for physical characteristic analysis.Firstly,this paper made a thorough research on theoretical principle and operational principle of memristor,then derived the linear model of memristor,and built the this model in Simulink,additionally,analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the three window functions commonly used in the nonlinear memory in detail.Then,we built a nonlinear model based on two window functions by using Matlab.Finally,it is verified by experiments that the model is correct.It provided important theoretical support and experimental basis for the design and analysis of Memristor-based PUF.(2)This paper presents a Memristor-based Reconfigurable Physical Unclonable Function:In this work,we first discussed the physically reconfigurable with respect to the advantages of logically reconfigurable,and analyzed the resistance variation and bias sensitivity of memristor.Based on the two characteristics of memristor,we proposed a novel Memristor-based Physically Reconfigurable Physical Unclonable Function.This structure can reconstruct the internal physical state of Memristor-based PUF,so that M-PUF can have a dynamic CRP behavior.Finally,we carried out a simulation experiment combined with the model of memristor proposed in this paper.The results of the experiment also show that the proposed M-RPUF structure has good uniqueness,randomness and reconfigurability.
