The growing popularity of smart phones and handheld devices,comes with its users need to connect to the Internet to obtain information whenever and wherever they can.In order to provide better service to customers,more and more businesses begin to provide free or chargeable WIFI – at shopping malls,arcades and recreation facilities,etc.Currently,the hot topic on access and authentication are focused on different broadband connections,there are many methods for users connecting to Internet,and many WIFI access and authentication technology have been used by wide population,such as: which results in many access and authentication techniques,such as PPPoE,802.1x,Web/Portal,etc.Portals can provide convenient management functions for operators,web portals can carry out advertising,community services,personalized services,etc,so that broadband operators,equipment providers and content service providers can form an industrial ecosystem.Traditional online advertising no longer meets the needs and requirements of audiences today,the current trend is for targeted online advertising.Analysis of the development of China's online advertising,the trend of targeted advertising,and understanding the development pattern,enable us to explore the unlimited potential of online advertising.In this paper,the Netfilter framework and the techniques of TCP long connection and thread pool were deeply studied utilising the OpenWrt embedded development platform and Web/Portal principle.This paper introduces how to apply Iptables—the Kernel package filtering tool of linux—to capture outbound HTTP traffic and redirect the page to targeted advertising for users.The implementation of online and offline authentication of users using TCP long connection and thread pool completes Web/Portal authentication with high-availability,high-efficiency and high stability.Based on the above authentication,targeted advertising was realized via filtering and tampering with the accredited packets using the Nginx forward agent.Users were identified using unique identification and the IP address of the network device,which allowed targeting to inject the JavaScript into the HTML page being returned by the customer's HTTP request...
