As the expansion and extension of WWW,Semantic Web has become a hot research field for providing a more personalized and colorful network from its birth.And ontology which is as the basis of the Semantic Web has been used by a growing number of organizations and institutions to carry out the semantic description of a field.This paper takes the research background of the project "Cultural Tourism Resources Mining and Experiential Platform Development and Demonstration".It does works on the research and design of character animation system based semantic and achieves 3D character animation generation automatically by processing the limited animation description text.The main works includes the construction of Chinese animation description ontology,the quantization of scene information and executable scripts automatic generation.The details are as follows:Firstly,this paper has completed the construction of Chinese animation describing ontology against the character animation generation system using top-down method.The experiment has proved that the ontology not only includes the description of concept,relationships and constraints in the filed,but also has the strong event logicality.It maintains the semantic integrity largely and provides a foundation of semantic description for the system.Secondly,the paper puts forward a set of quantitative processing solutions for scene information.Firstly,it proposes the improved spatial information extraction method based on the dependencies and increases the integrity and accuracy of extraction of spatial information.Then,it receives the objects model information from the ontology model library using the technology of semantic retrieval.At last,it adopts the rule-based way to calculate space coordinates of object.It transforms the qualitative scene information in the text into the quantitative information of object model and three-dimensional coordinate which provides an essential data objects for the system.Finally,this paper analyzes the role behavior,proposes the executable scripts automatic generation method based on the event and accomplishes the design of prototype system.Firstly,it analyzes the behavior of role based on event type,especially the non-verbal behavior of roles,then makes a traversal on the semantic sequence of events and select the different template to generate the associated executable JS script files automatically according to event type using Velocity template engine technology.Executing the scripts in Unity 3D game engine,it can complete the loading of the model and operation of action and generate a 3D character animation.
