Design And Implementation Of Digital Campus Data Exchange Platform

With the continuous development of modern computer technology,mankind has entered the information age,the standard of living has been improved.In the information era,the reformation of education industry is favorable.Nowadays,schools have been freed from the traditionally old education pattern,and taking advantage of modern information technology to move forward.And many colleges and universities begin to build modern teaching facilities on their campus.Data exchange platform,a necessary support system which schools have to build,can help schools solve administrative vulnerabilities and problems in many ways.Therefore,data exchange platform plays a very important role in the promotion of university construction.In the digital campus environment,the paper designs and implements the data exchange platform on the basis of Web Service so that the dispersed business data in school is integrated and data sharing center is constructed.At the same time,the platform provides a variety of data interface which can realize the data exchange and interconnection,guarantees the availability and consistency of data based on data standardization and ensures the data flows in a accurate,ordered way,so that the phenomenon of information isolated island will be eliminated effectively.The specific contents are as follows.At first,the paper elaborates the research background and significance of the project in detail,and makes a brief overview of the overseas and domestic research situation,then shows the necessity to build data exchange platform on college campus.Secondly,the paper summarizes the digital campus data center,and gives a detailed introduction to the theory of digital campus and its related techniques.Thirdly,the paper makes an elaborated analysis and design to the framework and function in this data exchange platform,by analyzing the business system situation in the institute,and designing the data flow exchange shared matrix with the help of UC tool,data sharing between business systems is realized.Finally,the unified information standardization construction in college is completed,and such important function modules as data allocation,data extraction and data subscription are implemented.The task that data extraction from business system data tables to data center tables,and data subscription from data center data tables to business system tables can be performed through choosing or designing the data tables in data center and businesssystem on the data exchange platform,and corresponding to data table fields.The system testing shows the platform can meet the requirement of extracting and subscribing hundreds of thousands of data volume at once,and it can be used to extract the basic student information from database in educational administration system to middle tables in data exchange platform,thus the data in middle tables will be subscribed to the database in student management system.Data analysis indicates the system implements the data exchange successfully and achieves the desired results.The data exchange platform in this paper has been partially applied in digital campus system of Guangdong Technical College of Water Resources and Electric Engineering.The platform has certain universality and scalability,it is also a valuable reference for future data integration in colleges and enterprises.
