The purpose of STEAM education is to use multi-disciplinary knowledge to solve problems and complete projects,so as to cultivate students' creative thinking and practical ability.The information technology course is a basic subject in the national curriculum.In the "information age" of the rapid development of information technology,the ability to use information technology is the necessary knowledge and skills for every qualified citizen.Therefore,it is the responsibility of each information technology teacher to use information technology courses reasonably and effectively to improve students' information literacy.This study combines STEAM education concepts with high school information technology courses.Based on a detailed summary analysis of the STEAM education concepts and the high school information technology courses,it investigates case schools and summarizes and analyzes several teaching problems in case school information technology courses.Based on the results of the investigation,we designed a teaching strategy for high school information technology courses based on the STEAM education concept for the teaching problems found.The designed teaching strategy was applied to the actual classroom teaching to conduct three rounds of action research,and finally we concluded an effective teaching strategy that can solve the case of information technology classroom teaching in case schools.The research shows that the problems in the information technology classroom of the case school mainly include the following aspects:(1)the vague teaching goals lead to negative student learning attitudes;(2)the teaching content deviates from the student needs,and the students' knowledge is rarely applied;(3)The simple teaching method leads to boring and boring classrooms;(4)The single teaching evaluation makes students lack of motivation for learning.In response to the above problems,the author summarizes targeted teaching strategies through action research:(1)In the teaching objectives,it is necessary to clarify the qualities that students need to have,clarify where the comprehensive learning content is reflected,and focus on the cultivation of thinking ability behind the technology;(2)To dig out comprehensive teaching content and choose practical teaching content;(3)The teaching process creates a project from the real problem situation,and returns the teaching to the real world practice.The design of the project theme should be hierarchical and use Interdisciplinary comprehensive knowledge,cooperative exploration and completion of teaching tasks,teachers must clarify their responsibilities throughout the teaching process;(4)design a variety of teaching evaluations,combining teacher evaluation,student selfevaluation and mutual evaluation,in the evaluation process Teachers should play a leading role. |
