Under the background of the new socialist era,China pays attention to cultivating students with innovative ability, interdisciplinary applied knowledge thinking,problem-solving ability, practical ability and implementing ability. Therefore,STEAM education concept has been concerned by Chinese educators and front-line teachers. However, the theoretical and practical research on STEAM education concept in China started late compared with foreign STEAM education, and fewer schools carry out related courses, most of which are in the compulsory education stage, and there are few STEAM education courses for high schools. The 2017 General Technical Curriculum Standards for Regular High Schools also emphasizes the cultivation of students’ interdisciplinary learning ability and innovative thinking. At present, due to the pressure of the college entrance examination in most parts of China, the students value the curriculum resources, and the cultivation of the students’ interdisciplinary learning ability and innovative thinking.Information technology plays an important role in students’ innovation ability. After more than ten years of development, the domestic research on information technology and curriculum integration has been relatively mature, and there are relatively few integration research on general technology curriculum. It is easy to have the following disadvantages in practical teaching: first, the weakening of the essence of subject teaching, the second is the inaccurate positioning of teaching objectives, and the third is the abuse of information technology means. This thesis proposes the integration of information technology and general technology curriculum based on STEAM concept, based on cultivating students’ innovative spirit and interdisciplinary integration ability. And this teaching strategy for the project design, teaching design and teaching practice application research.First of all,the integration status of STEAM concept, information technology and general technology courses, general technology and information technology curriculum standards and general technology courses are analyzed, and the necessity and feasibility of the integration of information technology and general technology courses based on STEAM concept are analyzed. Then, according to STEAM concept, constructivism theory, situational cognition theory and multiple intelligence theory, the integrated teaching strategy of information technology and general technology curriculum based on project learning theory is proposed.According to this strategy, general technical curriculum standards and curriculum content.Specifically, the students of No.101 Middle School in Urumqi,Xinjiang Province are the research objects to carry out action research, and the "Structure Design" and "Control System" in the compulsory 2 "Technology and Design 2" are selected for the implementation of the two projects. After project design, project implementation, project feedback, adjustment plan, project implementation again, analysis and summary through questionnaire survey method and interview method. After action research,it is concluded that information technology and general technology curriculum integration based on STEAM concept are carried out in a project way.Compared with traditional teaching,it can effectively improve classroom efficiency, stimulate students ’interest in learning, improve students’ innovation ability, interdisciplinary integration ability, cooperation ability and communication ability.Students’ general technology core literacy, information literacy and interdisciplinary knowledge integration ability have been greatly improved compared with traditional teaching. Finally, the research outlook and research of this study are insufficient.
