Study On The Evaluation Of The Express Industry Efficiency In Jiangxi Province And Its Influencing Factors

In recent years,the country has formulated many policies in the development of express delivery,and has paid more and more attention to the development of express delivery.China's express delivery industry has developed relatively late,and now the express delivery industry is also in the stage of financial transformation and transformation,which is an important period towards a large express delivery country.Study the efficiency of express delivery and its influencing factors,explore the problems in the development of express delivery,and put forward practical suggestions in light of the actual situation,and contribute to the healthy development of the express delivery industry.This article mainly studies the efficiency of the express delivery industry in Jiangxi Province and analyzes the influencing factors of efficiency.First,read a lot of relevant literature;second,explain the relevant theoretical knowledge of the express delivery industry;again,a three-stage DEA analysis of the express delivery efficiency of various provinces and cities in the country,through a comparative analysis,found the current situation of the express delivery industry in Jiangxi Province,and then The express delivery efficiency of 11 prefectures and cities was analyzed again in three-stage DEA,and combined with DEA-Malmquist method for static and dynamic analysis.Finally,to study what factors affect the efficiency of express delivery,this chapter will use the overall efficiency of the 11 cities in Jiangxi Province obtained as the explained variable,select the main efficiency-influencing variable as the explanatory variable,and establish a regression model.The research results show that:(1)According to the results of the three-stage DEA analysis,the overall efficiency of 6 out of 11 cities in Jiangxi Province is less than the average of the overall efficiency.The DEA-Malmquist index method concludes that from 2014 to 2018,10 out of 11 cities in Jiangxi Province had an average TFP greater than 1.(2)Comparing with other provinces and cities across the country,it is found that the express efficiency ranking of Jiangxi Province is in the lower middle.The main reason for the low express efficiency is the low scale efficiency and the low pure technical efficiency.(3)GDP,the number of Internet usersand the specialization of location all have a positive impact on the express delivery efficiency of Jiangxi Province,while the total length of postal routes and the number of employees in the express delivery industry have not passed the significance test.Suggestions based on the research results:(1)Nanchang promotes technological progress and innovation;Jiujiang,Ganzhou,and Shangrao need to expand the scale of express delivery industry;Pingxiang,Yingtan,and Yichun not only need to expand the scale of express delivery,but also should pay attention to improving management and technical level;Focus on improving pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency;Jingdezhen,Xinyu and Ji'an need to expand the scale of express delivery and promote the application of new technologies.(2)Promote the balanced development of regional express delivery in Jiangxi Province,standardize the operation and optimization of the express delivery industry management system,improve the express delivery service network system,promote the mutual benefit of the express delivery industry and e-commerce,take advantage of the location advantages of Jiangxi Province,and promote the development of the express delivery industry.
