Abstract/Summary:
Integral Expression Operation is one of the important contents of junior high school mathematics.It is the most basic and most important part of "Number and Algebra".In recent years,on the background of new curriculum,History and Pedagogy of Mathematics(HPM)has become one of the main research fields of mathematics education.The teaching of Integral Expression Operation in the perspective of HPM selects the knowledge of Integral Expression Operation as a carrier,combines with the research method of HPM,to explore the development of teaching design,and to study the impact of integrating mathematics history into pedagogy of mathematics on students' learning of Integral Expression Operation.In the study process,firstly,analyze the current classroom teaching of Integral Expression Operation,and understand the important impact of Integral Expression Operation on junior high school mathematics and the difficulties in learning through questionnaires and interviews to investigate teachers' and students' views on the history of mathematics.Secondly,select two specific knowledge points in the Integral Expression Operation and the corresponding knowledge of mathematical history based on the findings of the research,analyze and adopt the methods of "following the historical development" and "multi-angle interpretation of mathematical culture" into the teaching case design.Then choose two parallel classes for comparative experiments,and use classroom teaching practices that incorporate the history of mathematics and traditional teaching methods.Finally,analyze the classroom practice results of two parallel classes through interviews,classroom observation and teaching quality comparison.Discovered from the entire research process,integral expression operation integrated into the history of mathematics is good for students' understanding of the Integral Expression Operation and inspire students′ enthusiasm.However,in the implementation process of teaching must combine students' faculty of thinking,the latest development zone,comprehensive knowledge and the characteristics of historical data,and be carried out reasonably and appropriately.
