In recent years,with the continuous reform of basic education,comparative research on teaching materials has become a hot spot.As an important carrier for teachers’ teaching and students’ learning,textbooks are directly related to the learning status of each student.A suitable textbook can get twice the result with half the effort for teachers’ teaching and students’ learning.As a brand-new teaching content introduced at the beginning of junior high school,the integral expression throughout the entire middle school learning process,and it is also an important tool for learning "equations" and "functions" later.Therefore,this article chooses to study the integral expression contents in three editions of textbooks compiled under the guidance of Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2011)edition by Peoples Education Press(referred to as the "People’s Education Edition "),Beijing Normal University Press(referred to as the "Beijing Normal University Edition")and Hunan Education Publishing House(referred to as "Hunan Edition").Respectively through "chapter arrangement" and "system structure" macro level as well as "way of introduction ","illustration",voice overs,"examples" and "exercises" micro comparison research to the teaching material,through comparison of the result of the study,the three editions of textbooks mainly have the following characteristics and differences.Macro level:Although the number of chapters in the human Education edition is small,each section has more content.The chapters of the Beijing Normal University edition and hunan Edition are carefully arranged and have strong pertinence to students’ learning.However,the textbook content of Beijing Normal University edition is relatively scattered.Micro level:1.Human Education edition and Hunan Education Edition pay more attention to the teaching of students’ knowledge points,which can effectively consolidate students’ learning knowledge;The edition of Beijing Normal University pays more attention to the cultivation of students’ learning ability and thinking expansion,and has higher requirements on students’ independent learning ability and summarizing ability.2.There is little difference between the exercises and examples in the textbooks of the three editions.They all pay more attention to the cultivation of students’ computing ability and basic skills,but lack of the cultivation of investigation ability and reasoning ability.
