Teachers play a key role in education,and education plays a key role in national development.The combination of these two key points fully affirmed the key role of teachers in the development of the country and the prosperity of society.Therefore,the Outline of the National Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020)emphasizes again that strengthening the construction of the teaching staff is the most important basic work in the development of education.At present,strengthening teacher training and improving teachers' professional quality and teaching ability have become important measures to improve the quality of talent training in higher vocational colleges.However,the results of the survey on teacher training indicate that the effects of training are often easily discounted.The reasons are multifaceted.Only by deeply analyzing the problems existing in training and carrying out targeted reforms can we improve the quality of training and make teacher training truly service talent training in higher vocational colleges.Therefore,this research investigates the current situation and needs of on-the-job training for teachers in some higher vocational colleges in Tianjin,analyzes the problems existing in the process of on-the-job training and the causes,then proposes corresponding countermeasures.The specific research content is divided into the following five parts:The first part is the introduction.This part mainly introduces the reason of this research,definition of core concepts,research significance,research status,research ideas and research methods.The second part is the internal logic between teacher professional development and teacher training.This part takes teacher professional development as the fulcrum,combine expectations theory,training transfer theory,and Kirkpatrick's evaluation theory to analyze the principles of vocational teacher training.Then the internal relationship between vocational teacher training and vocational teacher professional development is introduced.The third part is a status survey of teacher training in Tianjin higher vocational colleges.This part takes some teachers in six higher vocational colleges in Tianjin as research objects.Use questionnaires and interviews to investigate current status and existence of Tianjin vocational teacher training from training form,training frequency,training content and training effect elaborately.The fourth part is the analysis of the problems and causes of higher vocational teacher training in Tianjin.At present,Tianjin's higher vocational teacher training has the following problems: insufficient government investment,insufficient attention in higher vocational colleges,relatively blind training system settings,shortage of teachers and low quality,incomplete training base construction,inadequate cooperation between schools and enterprises,single training and assessment methods.In view of the above problems,the author analyzes the causes from two levels:internal and external causes.The fifth part proposes reasonable suggestions for improving the effectiveness and pertinence of higher vocational teacher training from four levels: government,higher vocational colleges,higher vocational teachers,and trainers.
