| In the 21 st century,the education reform of all countries is facing a major issue with the advent of globalization,knowledge-worker management and information age.That is,what kind of core accomplishment should be cultivated to students.Based on the thinking and practice of this issue,China has proposed six core accomplishments of mathematics discipline in combination with core accomplishments,key competencies,essential qualities and the characteristics of mathematics discipline.This paper takes the head of the mathematical abstract accomplishment,that "mathematical abstraction" as the core,by combining the abstract characteristics of function knowledge,the basic elementary function content was slected as a carrier to investigate and research the mathematical abstract accomplishment level of the students of grade two in senior high school in K City.Firstly,it established a mathematical abstract accomplishment evaluation framework consisting of 3 levels and 4 dimensions according to the curriculum standard,drew a ternary index diagram of basic elementary function with the abstraction analysis method to determine the abstraction degree and level of knowledge points related to the function.Based on this,an abstract accomplishment test paper was compiled to investigate the students' level of mathematical abstract accomplishment.Moreover,interview content was added to investigate their situation in this dimension because the test questions could not directly reflect their level in the dimension of “communication and reflection”;Secondly,it compiled the questionnaire from four aspects of students' emotional attitude and values,teachers' teaching,function knowledge and mathematical abstraction according to the relevant requirements of mathematical abstract accomplishment in the curriculum standard.Furthermore,it conducted case study on the students' answer process in the test paper,thus analyzing the factors that affect the formation of their mathematical abstract accomplishment.Finally,the survey data is distributed and collected,using Excel statistics to analyze the overall level of students ' the mathematical abstract accomplishment,and using SPSS 20.0 to analyze the differences of the level of mathematical abstract literacy between genders,different types of classes,and different levels of schools,as well as the correlation between students' usual scores,emotional attitudes,combined with data charts to analyze the reasons for the status quo of students' mathematical abstract literacy level.Based on the above research,with the goal of cultivating students' mathematics abstract literacy as the goal,it proposes training strategies from the perspectives of students and teachers,and selects part of the function content as an example to write teaching cases.The research results show that the overall mathematical abstract accomplishment level of the students of grade two in senior high school in K City is average,without difference in gender,but with significant difference between experimental and parallel classes,and between different grades of schools.This is significantly correlated with the student' usual scores,but weakly correlated with their emotional attitude and values.In addition,the main reasons that affect the formation of the students' mathematical abstract accomplishment include their lack of self-confidence in the learning process of mathematics,poor performance in preview before class,generalization and summarization,and questioning spirit.The other reasons include that the concept and property of function is relatively abstract,some of the teachers were still teaching the class based on teacher's lecture,and they did not have enough elaboration on the background of function. |
