Autistic children often have different forms of aggressive behaviors such as kicking doors, throwing things, crying loudly, attacking themselves and others in special education schools. These problem behaviors have seriously troubled parents and teachers, and these aggressive behaviors also hinder the social development of them. Therefore, they urgently needs effective educational intervention methods. In this study, two autistic children with frequent explicit aggressive behaviors were selected from special education schools to carry out educational intervention on their aggressive behaviors through sand-play.And,they were observed and measured before and after intervention by using the Autistic Children Aggressive Behavior Observation Record Form and Autistic Behavior Scale(ABC Scale). Thus, the performance and changes of them in the sand-play process were observed and recorded through the Sand-play Educational Intervention Record for Aggressive Behaviors of Individual Cases. The results show that sand-play has a significant effect on the educational intervention of autistic children's aggressive behavior. After the intervention, their sand-play themes were analyzed and their parents and teachers in charge were interviewed. It is found that sand-play can eliminate the aggressive behaviors of autistic children, improve the problem behaviors, improve the cognition, emotion and language of autistic children and promote the social development of autistic children. Finally, some suggestions are put forward for this study.
