The Relationship Between Social Support And Resilience Of Hearing-impaired College Students

A large number of research results have proved that there is a close positive correlation between social support and psychological resilience.Some studies have further found that there may be some mediating variables between social support and resilience.Social support may affect the level of resilience by affecting self-efficacy and self-esteem.Therefore,self-awareness may have an impact on the relationship between social support and psychological resilience as a mediating variable.At the same time,the existing research results show that there may be significant differences between hearing impaired college students and normal subjects in terms of social support,psychological resilience and self-awareness.Therefore,this study will use questionnaire survey method to study the characteristics of social support,psychological resilience and self-awareness of hearing-impaired College students,and explore the relationship between self-awareness and social support and psychological resilience of hearing-impaired College students.The final results are as follows:(1)There are significant differences in social support,psychological resilience and self-awareness among hearing-impaired college students of different genders.The level of social support,psychological resilience and self-awareness of female students is higher than that of male students.There are significant differences in mental resilience among hearing-impaired college students with different educational backgrounds.The mental resilience level of undergraduate students with hearing impairment is higher than that of college students with hearing impairment.(2)There is a significant correlation between social support,psychological resilience and self-awareness of hearing-impaired College students.At the same time,social support of hearing-impaired college students can significantly predict the level of self-awareness and psychological resilience,and self-awareness can also significantly predict the level of psychological resilience.(3)The self-awareness of hearing-impaired college students plays a significant part of the mediating role between social support and psychological resilience.Social support can directly affect the level of psychological resilience,and also can influence the level of self-awareness to psychological resilience.
