In recent years,the upsurge of Chinese language learning among young children in Thailand has continued to heat up.Volunteer Chinese teachers in Thailand have faced many predicaments,affecting students' interest and effectiveness.This article surveys the questionnaires of volunteer Chinese teachers who working in Thailand.It investigates the teaching predicaments of volunteer Chinese teachers in Thailand from four aspects: early childhood curriculum,early childhood activity practice,early childhood teaching time management,and early childhood assessment.Volunteers faced the greatest predicaments in the design and implementation of Chinese language courses for young children;and further analyzed the specific manifestations and possible causes of various teaching predicaments.In order to gain a deeper understanding of the problems encountered by volunteers in the teaching of Chinese language for young children,and to dig out and analyze the causes of the problems,the author conducted a one-to-one interview with 15 volunteers who participated in the questionnaire survey,thus combing the volunteer Chinese teachers in Thailand The predicaments of the learners are lack of classroom management ability,single teaching method,unsure of the teaching content,obstacles in language communication,serious tendency of elementary school teaching,preschool professional volunteers for young Chinese teachers,lack of relevant training,and low teacher-student ratio,Analyzed the four reasons for the above predicaments: lack of relevant knowledge and experience of young children,lack of professional training content,unclear teaching goals,insufficient Thai language ability,etc.Based on the results of the survey and interviews,this article puts forward specific suggestions for teachers themselves and organizational units,such as:learning the basic theory of preschool,understanding the rules of child development,improving cultural literacy,enhancing personal talent skills,strengthening the ability to organize and implement children's outdoor activity courses,Pay attention to the differences in the cultivation of local children in Thailand,strengthen communicationwith colleagues and parents,pay attention to children's experiential education,integrate Chinese learning into children's life,Chinese teaching content should conform to the rules of child development,and volunteer Chinese teachers should provide support for young children;pay attention to children The level of pre-job training for Chinese volunteer teachers,focus on the management and training of volunteer Chinese teachers for young children,the continuity of post-post feedback for Chinese language volunteer teachers for young children,and the effectiveness of the compilation of Chinese textbooks 1.Increase the number of volunteers of Chinese language teachers for young children,encourage pre-school education students to apply for volunteers,strengthen communication and feedback with local schools in Thailand,improve volunteer employment environment,and ensure stability.
