Novice teachers are in the initial stage of teaching professional development,facing the transition and adaptation period from the student role to the formal teacher role.The impact of ideal and reality and the running-in of theory and practice make novice teachers who with insufficient teaching ability and experience have different levels of teaching fear,which affects their professional development.In addition,Palmer's research on teaching fear is deeply rooted in people's mind,it sparked my research interest the teaching fear of novice teachers.This study adopts qualitative research to enter the school field and penetrate into the novice teachers.Literature analysis,observation,narrative research,in-depth interview and case study were used to collect the original data of novice teachers' teaching fear,and the core concept of three-level coding was used to conduct a highly inductive analysis of novice teachers' teaching fear and propose the relevant transcendental path.The paper is mainly divided into four chapters: the first chapter is the field frame of the novice teacher,mainly introduces the thinking of research design,the selection of research objects,the basic processes of research and written reflection;Chapter two is encounter with fear: the novice teachers' inner monologue.This chapter summarizes and analyzes four fears of novice teachers by interviewing them.The third chapter is the analysis of fear: deep description of novice teachers' teaching fear.This chapter analyzes the existence of novice teachers' teaching fear from the five perspectives of novice teachers themselves,students,colleagues,managers and observers.The fourth chapter is understanding and transcendence: the theoretical construction and path turning of novice teachers' teaching fear.This part makes a highly inductive analysis of the "true face" of novice teachers' teaching fear through the grounded theory,and provides a path for novice teachers to transcend teaching fear.It is found that the teaching fear of novice teachers is mainly reflected in the fear of role change,classroom,interpersonal communication and self-identity crisis.Secondly,the analysis of novice teachers' teaching fear from different perspectives is different.Based on the analysis of the grounded theory,the teaching fear of novice teachers is the resultant of "unknown situation","powerlessness" and "negative emotion" in teaching,and it is the result of the interaction between external environment and teachers' personal factors.Teaching fear,self-conscious teacher professional development and school care are the reasonable ways for novice teachers to go beyond teaching fear.Taking novice teachers as the research object,this study aims to provide reference for novice teachers in the transition period and promote their professional development by analyzing their teaching fears.Finally,it is hoped that this study can be helpful to the research on teaching fear and professional development of the novice teachers.
