The development of normal major certification has re-emphasized teaching quality monitoring as an important topic.It is required that the normal major should place the quality guarantee in an important position in its own construction,have a relatively complete teaching quality monitoring mechanism.However,at present,the utilization rate of the teaching operation data of colleges,such as teacher teaching and student learning,is not high.It is still at the most basic statistical analysis stage,and there is no further exploration of the value and significance behind the data.How to effectively use these data to implement teaching quality monitoring needs further research.Data mining technology is the product of the rapid development of information technology.The use of data mining methods can more precisely capture the change data at various levels and the complex relationship between the data,helping decision makers to grasp the status quo more clearly and monitor the quality of teaching more comprehensively.Effectively regulate the factors that affect the quality of teaching,so as to achieve the purpose of ensuring the quality of education.With the help of SPSS and Weka data mining tools,this article use multiple data mining methods to conduct in-depth mining and analysis of teaching operation data,and explore the complex relationship behind the data and its value.Then it further proposes how to effectively use data mining to implement teaching quality monitoring methods and measures,and explores how to use the analysis results to optimize the use of student evaluation data,improve student academic monitoring and curriculum early warning systems,innovative academic evaluation and employment guidance methods.Provide meaningful reference for the implementation of teaching quality monitoring in our school.The main content of this article is as follows:First,carefully study the normal major certification standards and related quality monitoring literature,and sort out the relevant elements of teaching quality monitoring,and sort out ways and means to implement teaching quality monitoring.And research the data mining tools and methods,choose the data analysis tools and methods suitable for teaching quality monitoring.Secondly,using mining tools and methods to conduct in-depth analysis of the collected quality monitoring data,and propose a series of monitoring mechanisms and measures that can improve the teaching quality,mainly including: 1.The horizontal comparison analysis,vertical comparison analysis,and cluster analysis of teachers' teaching evaluation data in departments and departments are put forward to optimize the use of teaching evaluation data;2.Using k-means clustering analysis in credit monitoring,students are divided into different types of groups according to their academic performance,so different warning information can be provided for different groups;3.Apply correlation analysis to student performance analysis,find meaningful connections between courses hidden behind the results,and propose a course warning mechanism based on this;4.Using factor analysis to analyze student performance,to achieve a more scientific and objective comprehensive evaluation of student abilities and qualities,making individual characteristics of students obvious,and found a new way to improve the academic evaluation system;5.Use decision trees to explore the relationship between courses and employment,generate corresponding decision tree models,summarize easyto-understand forecasting rules,and provide a reference for improving employment guidance.Finally,the above-mentioned analysis methods and results are summarized,and the application advantages and methods of data mining in internal teaching quality monitoring of universities are proposed,including optimizing the use of student evaluation data,improving student academic monitoring and curriculum early warning systems,innovative academic evaluation and employment guidance,and so on.A teaching quality monitoring model based on data mining was constructed,which provided a meaningful reference for our school to establish a sound teaching quality monitoring mechanism.
