Research On The Appliacation Of Data Mining Technology In Teaching Evaluation System In Higher Vacational Colleges

The pace of the development of modern vocational education has been accelerated,and the new requirements have been put forward for the innovation of vocational education model in recent years.And the teachers' teaching capability is closely linked to the pupils' performances,whether cooperation between school and enterprise,order training,or modern apprenticeship education model.However,the artificial evaluation mechanism was still applied to teacher evaluation in many higher vocational colleges,lacking of effective methods for the massive evaluation of data mining,and improving of teaching quality.Therefore,the purpose of this paper was to introduce data mining technology applied into the system of higher vocational teaching evaluation and management,in order to improve the teaching management level and teaching quality.In this paper,the data mining technology was applied into teaching evaluation and decision system based on the database of educational administration system of a Career Technical College.Here are my main jobs:Firstly,we made requirement analysis combining with the teaching evaluation system,including system performance,user role,system function,development technology and data mining etc.Secondly,the system architecture was built,and the workflow of the system was described in detail according to the requirements analysis phase.The function of the evaluation system,including foreground management module,background management module and system management module,was introduced in detail.The database was designed by drawing the system entity E-R model.Then,Data mining of teachers' information was researched by cluster analysis,and we could achieve the relationship,between teachers(different titles,education,training and competition)and teaching evaluation,showed that the results were consistent with the fact.There were multiple indicators of student evaluation by association rules in data mining,with obtaining the correlation between the evaluation index and the teaching quality,and analyzing the correlation degree between the evaluation indexes.Finally,the concrete realization proess of the main function of teaching evaluation system was introduced in detail.
