Research On Data Mining In College Academic Early Warning

Data mining method is applied as the basic means of this article which focuses on college academic early warning.This paper analyze students' specialized course study,daily performance and personal basic condition by using classical data mining algorithms?The results indicate that in specialized course study,their performance in some specialized basic courses has a particularly profound effect on their course study.Then in their daily performance,their daily assignment and attendance have a deeper effect on their academic early warning.Concerning students' personal condition,their gender,college entrance exam scores and family economic status also have a relatively transparent impact.Some pertinent suggestions are put forward on teaching,learning and management so as to improve the teaching quality,prevent the degrading of students' academic scores and avoid the occurrence of academic early warning.In accordance with the practical work reality of college academic early warning,the working model of academic early warning based on data mining are proposed,and the formation of different systems and their working process are expounded under the working model.In the end,the data concerned are mined and analyzed via Weka and the results of association rule mining and classification rule mining are verified.
