The Relationship Between Parenting Style And Interpersonal Acceptance Of College Students

Having good interpersonal relationships can help college students to learn and live better.This has become a consensus.Interpersonal accommodation,as an important part of interpersonal relationships,has gradually received the attention of researchers.The family was the earliest place to provide learning scenes for children.In the early stage of adolescent socialization,children were relatively influenced by their parents.The development of children's various interpersonal abilities is also closely related to parenting styles.Previous studies have shown that parenting styles can affect interpersonal accommodation,but there are few studies on the mediating and regulating mechanisms of the relationship between the two.In order to conduct an overall investigation and effective intervention on interpersonal accommodation of college students,it is necessary to study the generation mechanism and related factors of interpersonal accommodation of college students.This study explores the relationship between parenting styles and interpersonal accommodation of college students from the perspective of parenting styles,and understands the mediating effects of social support and the regulating effects of androgyny.A simple parenting questionnaire,interpersonal accommodation scale,college student gender role scale,and perceived social support scale were used to survey563 college students in Sichuan Province.Research indicates:(1)There is a significant difference in the interpersonal accommodation level of college students in the dimension of whether they are the only child.There is no significant difference in gender.(2)The interpersonal accommodation level of college students,the positive parenting styles,social support and androgyny were significantly positively related.Interpersonal accommodation is negatively related to parents' negative parenting styles,but the correlation is not significant.(3)Realize that social support has an intermediary role between the parent's active parenting style and the interpersonal accommodation level of college students,and this intermediary role is regulated by androgyny.
