With the continuous development of science teaching in primary schools,the goal of quality-oriented education is not only to require students to master the knowledge required by the curriculum,more importantly,it can effectively study and improve the development of students' comprehensive thinking ability.In our daily study of science courses,teachers are the main ones and students are the auxiliary ones,which leads to many students' lack of initiative,low learning enthusiasm and all-round expansion of thinking ability.Therefore,in the current primary school classroom teaching,we can change the traditional teaching method and apply the "mind map" proposed by the famous British educator Tony bazan to it,to help students construct scientific knowledge and promote the development of students' scientific thinking ability.Based on the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey,experimental research and classroom observation,this paper carries out an applied research on the primary school science teaching based on mind map.First of all,on the basis of understanding domestic and foreign research on mind mapping,this paper expounds the basic concept,theoretical basis and drawing method of mind mapping.Secondly,it has investigated the current situation of primary school science and students' perceptions of mind mapping.Subsequently,the design principles,application methods and practical strategies of mind map in primary science teaching were put forward,and a primary school science teaching model based on mind map was constructed,and the case design was carried out.Finally,some students in the fifth grade of a primary school in Ruzhou City were taken as the research object,and the application effect of mind map in the science teaching of primary school was studied experimentally.The research conclusion is as follows :(1)primary school science teaching based on mind map can stimulate students' learning interest.(2)primary school science teaching based on mind mapping can improve students' academic performance.(3)primary school science teaching based on mind map can promote the development of students' comprehensive thinking ability.
