With the introduction and implementation of the national policy document,study-based travel,as an important part of quality education in primary and secondary schools,is constantly rising in these schools.In recent years,the study travel activities are slowly implemented.In order to know the effect of current study travel on geography knowledge and geography practical ability,study its influence,promote the effective cultivation of geography knowledge and geography practical ability in study travel,effectively implement geography subject accomplishment into research travel,and play the role of research travel to cultivate students' geography knowledge and geography practical ability,taking A Middle School research travel in Pingxiang as an example,this paper investigates and analyzes the whole process of Pingxiang research travel case implementation,and the students and teachers to study the influence of study travel on geography knowledge and geography practical ability.In order to carry on the research of this paper,based on the theory of "learning from doing",humanistic learning theory and experiential teaching of pragmatism learning theory,on the basis of defining the key concepts and summarizing the relevant research progress at home and abroad,with the help of literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,case analysis method and so on,the students and geography teachers in A Middle School and Pingxiang research travel were investigated.Based on the data obtained by questionnaire and interview,it is found that the theme,route and content of research travel,the skill training of early preparation,the subject accomplishment and the number of assigned tutors,the behavior and proper guidance of students on the way to study,the summary after research travel,the frequency and duration of study will affect the geography knowledge and geography practical ability of high school students.For the impact of geography knowledge,it is manifested in the fact that research travel helps students to deepen their understanding of knowledge,helps to expand their existing knowledge of geography,helps students to reach new knowledge of geography,helps to increase students' interest in learning geography,thus strengthening their ability to accept geography knowledge,and helps to improvestudents' ability to use geography knowledge flexibly.For the geography practical ability,the influence is presented in the cultivation of students' practical ability and practical quality.In view of the conclusion of this investigation and analysis,combined with the design procedure of the study travel activities,this paper puts forward the following suggestions on the cultivation of geography knowledge and geography practical ability in the study travel,from the aspects of organization process,teachers,students and so on.No.1,To distinguish the main body of research travel,research travel should take students as the main body,give full play to students' subjective initiative,and research tutors need to guide and evaluate in time.No.2,Choosing the research location reasonably according to the research objectives and formulating the research content.No.3,Training and tutor assignment should be done well.Schools should do well in skill training in advance and arrange tutors reasonably No.4,increase the frequency of studies and the length of each study,and give enough time for students to accumulate and think.This study combines the research travel with the geography knowledge,analyze and study the effect of research travel on geography knowledge and geography practical ability,which has provided the direction for the later research travel design about increasing geographical knowledge and developing geographical practices.
