Under the guidance of the Core Competencies and Values for Chinese Students' Development,each discipline has formulated its domain-specific competences in accordance with the characteristics of disciplinary education,which has become a value guide for the reform of classroom teaching.In the process of implementing the domain-specific competences,classroom teaching has shifted from instructional design to learning design,from class design to unit design.The learning unit design is regarded as an effective way to cultivate the domain-specific competences.Therefore,this study constructs the learning unit design from the perspective of the domain-specific competences,clarifies the implementation effect of the learning unit design,in order to discover the cultivation mechanism of the domain-specific competences of the learning unit design,and provides a theoretical basis and practical reference for teachers to develop the learning unit design.By sorting out and summarizing related literature research,clarifying relevant core concepts,clarifying the development of learning unit design and teaching requirements for core domain-specific competences of the subject,based on a basic grasp of related research,a learning unit design analysis framework is constructed.Taking the analysis framework as the theoretical guide and adopting a design-based research method,two parallel classes in a second grade of a primary school in Shanghai were selected as research participants to design a unit of learning for a unit of Chinese language textbooks.The entire research follows the research path of "design-implementation-reflection-improvement-re-implementation-re-reflection".In the process of the research,teaching materials,classroom records,observation records,teacher-student interviews and other data were collected,and text analysis was used.Data processing methods,such as qualitative and quantitative analysis,such as video analysis,statistical analysis,explore the influence of learning unit design on student learning effects,teacher teaching,and the cultivation mechanism of domain-specificcompetences.The research results show that: first,the learning unit design can effectively improve the quality of students' learning,especially the development of higher-order thinking skills such as expression;in addition,they can standardize the learning behavior of students and enrich the learning experience of students;second,the learning unit design Promote the overall teaching awareness of teacher units,pay attention to students' learning experiences and experiences,and focus on the planning of learning experiences.Finally,In the implementation of the domain-specific competences,the learning unit design gives the content of the subject a meaning to cultivate the core literacy of the subject.Learning support promotes students' active participation in learning to ensure the implementation of the domain-specific competences.The method of learning evaluation combining process and outcome evaluation leads the development of the domain-specific competences.The learning unit design validates its role in cultivating higher-order thinking skills.In the future,the design of the learning unit must coordinate learning tasks and learning activities,collaborative learning support and learning tasks,and design review learning tasks to establish a more complete learning system.The learning unit design based on domain-specific competences also brought a certain impact on existing teacher teaching and school management.For teachers,teachers need longer time for preparing lessons,designing learning tasks is difficult,and the limitations of external evaluation on teacher teaching.For school management,the biggest conflict between the design of learning units and the current school management system lies in class schedules.Schools also need to cultivate a team of Collaborative teachers to carry out the learning unit design and build a platform for communication and feedback to promote the effective development of the learning unit design.
