For a long time,there are many problems in teaching Chinese,such as active subjectivity and low efficiency in classroom teaching.The curriculum reform aims to solve all kinds of issues in Chinese classes."Unit whole teaching" is a kind of teaching form to adapt to the new curriculum reform.It is beneficial to change disadvantages of traditional single teaching and to improve the efficiency of Chinese classes.By the design of the new teaching materials prepared by the national junior high school in the new curriculum,with "systematicness" and "double thread"unit whole writing as a basic structure,provides the feasibility for the implementation of the "unit whole teaching".Unit teaching design is the premise of implementing unit teaching,and it is an efficient way to improve the teaching effect.To solve the problem,this article uses the literature method,case analysis method,theoretical research method and quasi-experimental method,combined with the curriculum and teaching theory,pedagogy,educational psychology and the knowledge from multi-disciplines.With the requirements of the curriculum standards,the constructivist learning theory,characteristics of unified textbook unit structure and existing problems in teaching,this paper researches optimal strategies of unit whole teaching design,then makes a plan of specific teaching design and implementation and also provides theoretical and practical suggestions to teachers.The context of this paper follows this line:the introduction mainly summarizes the origin and significance of the research,summarizes the relevant literature,and introduces the primary research methods.The first chapter analyzes the meaning,characteristics and the fundamental mode of the whole teaching unit.It is good for readers to have a basic understanding of the "unit teaching",then pointed out the difference and advantage of unit whole teaching comparing to the traditional teaching.The second chapter includes the foundation and basic requirements of unit whole teaching design,which lays a theoretical and practical basic stone for the topic.It mainly analyzes the general characteristics of the new textbook.In the third chapter,according to the basis and requirements of the unit whole teaching design,four strategies for optimizing it are put forward.It also combined with teaching examples to analyze different strategies in specific situations.The fourth chapter considers how to use unit whole teaching design in practice.With the constructivism learning theory,it has a comprehensive unit whole teaching design case by using the national grade 7 "common things",and already taught it in the classroom.According to the process of teaching design and practice,the last chapter rethinks the design and implementation of the teaching and brings forward the challenges and requirements for teachers.
