Surfing is an extreme sport powered by waves.The international Olympic committee(ioc)officially included surfing as an official sport in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in 2016,which promoted the rapid development of international surfing.Since then many countries have formed their own national surfing teams in preparation for the Olympic Games.The general administration of sport of China adopted an innovative and reform approach and handed over the national surfing team to hainan.The hainan national surfing team was formally established after hainan province contracted to build it under the leadership of the water sports management center of the general administration of sport of China.In 2018,the Water Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China jointly established the Hainan National Surfing Training Team with the Hainan Provincial Sports Vocational Technical College and Wuhan Sports Institute to train the echelon talents of the surfing project.Then I followed the instructor to enter the Hainan National Surfing Training Team.One year of practical research.Surfing relies on changes in the waves to provide forward momentum,which requires the athletes to stay in the strong zone on the wave wall to complete the movement.From paddling into the wave area to trying to control the wave is not easy,especially to complete the necessary scoring moves on the wave wall.The requirements of the competition are 20-30 minutes to complete a group,but the daily training is more than two hours each time,it can be said that the sport to the participants of physical fitness,endurance,reaction speed,balance,explosive force and other qualities of the requirements are relatively high.Therefore,good physical fitness and excellent quality is essential,which is the basic guarantee for surfers to achieve excellent results.Based on the above analysis,this article first to the thesis research background,purpose and significance,as well as the literature review at home and abroad are analyzed,and then introduces the research object and methods of this article,based on expert interviews designed to short board surfing athletes to carry out the questionnaire,and at the end from the training cycle,matters needing attention,as well as the specific design and other aspects,to short board surfing project physical training method and effect evaluation are studied,hope can effectively promote and upgrade the short board surfing athletes' physical quality,so as to enhance the capacity and level of their surfing.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows :(1)the current speed training methods of Chinese surfers are relatively simple,and there is a lack of specific speed training of surfing.This paper proposes to strengthen the water stroke training of the upper limbs and the stability training of the lower limbs.(2)at present,there are many ways for surfers to train their strength,which are listed as follows in order of popularity: push-ups,bench presses,single hand lift,pull-up,side pull elastic band,side lift dumbbells with flat ends,single hand lift,body lean forward and backward pull elastic band.These methods and means can effectively improve the strength quality of athletes.(3)currently,there are few training methods about coordination in surfing,for which the author proposes that surfers can improve coordination by combining jumping high-fives and shoulder rings.(4)at present,there are few flexibility training methods for Chinese surfers.This paper proposes to adopt stretch training,PNF training,stretching training and other training methods.(5)for surfing,the stability and balance of the lower body is particularly important and should be strengthened.There are many new training methods to improve the balance of athletes.This paper puts forward the forward lateral movement exercise with mini elastic belt,drag drag resistance squat exercise,lunge squat and dynamic balance pad exercise.
