Since the new curriculum reform,many front-line teachers and experts and scholars have done a lot of related research on the teaching of exercises,and have made different degrees of progress from theory to practice.However,there are still some problems in the practice teaching while it has made continuous progress.Based on the fifth grade of primary school,this study analyzes the problems existing in this period of teaching,explores the reasons behind the problems,and puts forward corresponding solutions.First of all,this paper expounds the research background,research significance and research status at home and abroad.Combined with the compulsory education Chinese curriculum standard(2011 Edition),it analyzes the theoretical basis of the exercise teaching,such as the concept,requirements and content,so as to lay a theoretical foundation for the later research.On this basis,this paper makes an investigation and analysis of the current situation of the fifth grade teachers' teaching and students' exercises,analyzes the problems and explores the reasons.Finally,this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the effectiveness of the exercise teaching.Through the research,this paper mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)There are the following problems in the teaching of Chinese exercises in the fifth grade of primary school: the teaching task of teachers' exercises is not up to the standard,the teachers do not let the students form a good habit of accumulating the resources of exercises,and the teaching methods of teachers' exercises are backward.Based on the problems,this paper holds that the main reasons for these problems lie in Teachers' biased cognition of the new curriculum standard,teachers' improper attitude towards the teaching of exercises,and teachers' neglect of students' subjectivity.(2)Combined with the results of the investigation,the author thinks that teachers can improve the effectiveness of the exercises from the following aspects: teachers should set up correct teaching objectives of the exercises,teachers should correctly cultivate students' interest in writing,teachers should guide students to effectively accumulate the materials of the exercises,teachers should strengthen the process guidance of the students' works,and teachers should respect the subjectivity of the students' works.
