Research On Upgrading And Development Of Higher Education Zone

The higher-education zone is the product of the popularization of higher education.With the transition from popularization to popularization of higher education,the development of higher education is shifting from “quantity expansion” to “quality improvement”,and the highereducation zone are facing practical problems of upgrading and development.Under the new normal background,the economic transformation and upgrading puts forward new requirements for higher-education zone to gather high-end innovative elements,enhance innovative service capacity and increase the supply of young people.In this thesis,using the Delphi method to determine the four evaluation indicators to describe the development status of six universities in Ningbo South Higher-Education Zone.These indicators are situation of student training,horizontal research funding,income from transformation of achievements and annual final accounts.And it summarizes the current situation of regional economic development in Ningbo,and using the theory of new economic growth,human capital theory,and Tri-helix theory to analysis the relationship between the South Higher-Education Zone and regional economic development.It holds that South Higher-Education Zone can bring direct benefits to regional economy,promotes the optimization of regional industrial structure,and enhances the strength of regional scientific and technological innovation;and regional economic development promotes the upgrading and development and optimizes the educational structure of South Higher-Education Zone.Basing on field research and interviews with relevant personnel,summarizing the innovative concept of running the South Higher-Education Zone,innovative educational mechanism,marketoriented operation mechanism and characteristic college in the process of construction and development.But at the same time,there are still some problems existing in the upgrading and development of Ningbo South higher-education zone,such as the overall strength of the park is not strong,the connection between disciplines and industries is not tight,the proportion of graduates staying in Ningbo declines,and the planning of the park needs to be improved.In addition,this study selects Silicon Valley Science Park in the United States as a successful case study at home and abroad,and concludes that Silicon Valley Science Park benefits from mature innovation network,leading scientific and technological innovation,active venture capital and innovative Park culture.It also chooses Dushu Lake Science and Education Innovation Park in Suzhou as a successful case of the domestic higher education zone,and concludes that the success of Dushu Lake Science and Education Innovation Park in Suzhou is due to its clear orientation of running school,the close industrial integration,the distinct advantages and the sufficient internal driving force.Summarizing the experience in the development processes of the two science park to provide reference for the upgrading and development of the South Higher-Education Zone.In order to smoothly promote the upgrading and development of Ningbo South Higher Education Zone,the thesis proposes the following five aspects of exploration: enlarging and strengthening the dominant disciplines,promoting the cooperation between disciplines and industry,and promoting the development of the higher education park with internationalization.
