Since the appearance of new poetry,it has gone through a century of development.As an important part of China's modern excellent culture,new poetry is of great value in improving the literary literacy and aesthetic taste of middle school students.For a long time,under the influence of the teaching concept of exam-oriented education,the teaching of Chinese new poetry in middle schools has been seriously ignored by teachers and students.Resulting in the teaching of new poetry as a weak link in Chinese teaching,and the aesthetic value of new poetry has not been highlighted.In order to change the current situation of new poetry teaching and create a good atmosphere for new poetry teaching,it is necessary to improve the teaching environment of new poetry from the two aspects of teachers and students.And at the same time,to find out feasible teaching methods for new poetry.Image is an important aesthetic category of poetry and an important carrier of expression.The special relationship between image and poet's expression makes image play an irreplaceable role in the teaching of Chinese new poetry.The application of image teaching to the teaching of new Chinese poems in middle schools can achieve good teaching results.The teacher guides the students to analyze the images in the new poems,so that the students can feel the unique artistic conception created by the images.On this basis,the students grasp the poet's emotional trend,achieve the emotional resonance with the poet,further analyzes the gist of the poems,and feel the unique charm of the new poems.This image-oriented teaching mode of new poetry can help students gain a deeper understanding of the content of new poetry,a deeper understanding of the poet's feelings,and conduct a more thorough analysis of the poem's gist.Therefore,the method of teaching new poetry with imagery is effective,and it is worthy of further exploration by Chinese educators.
