Objectives:Compared with other traditional sports,rope skipping consists different elements and various special hand and foot movements.In recent years,it has slowly been known and its effect on physical health has been studied,but the study of cognitive function is relatively small.Rope skipping is the only sport that can provide extra points in physical fitness test of students in primary schools.The reason why it can be listed as a plus event and what impacts it will have on the physical health and cognitive function of students in primary schools are really worth studying.This paper aims to explore the influence of rope skipping on physical health and cognitive function through data analysis,so as to provide scientific theoretical basis and practical reference for selecting the best and easily developed sports program to promote physical health and cognitive function of primary school students.Method:This article adopts three methods,that is,the literature material method,experimental method and mathematical statistics.The object of this study are 60 primary school students aged 9-10 living in Qingbaijiang district in the city of Chengdu.And they are randomly divided into experimental group and control group,each of which is made up of 30 people.In addition to the daily physical activity,there will be extra 12 weeks of rope skipping intervention pattern for the experimental group three times a week,120 minutes at a time while the control group only take daily physical activities without any other ones.With all the data collected,Spss23.0will be used to deal with the data.Group comparison uses independent sample T test and non-parametric test.The data before and after the experiment between these two groups will be tested by paired sample T test and non-parametric test.Results:1.Body shape index: after the experiment,there is a significant difference in BMI between the two groups(P<0.05).Height,body weight and BMI before and after the experiment are significantly different between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.01).2.Body function indicators: after the experiment,there is a very significant difference in lung capacity Between the two groups(P<0.01).There is a very significant difference in lung capacity in the experimental group(P<0.01),and there is no significant difference in resting heart rate(P>0.05).3.Physical quality indicators: after the experiment,all the indexes Between the two groups way are very significant difference(P<0.01).All the indexes before and after the experiment in experimental group show very significant difference(P<0.01).The events before and after the experiment,50 meters running,1minute sit-ups and cross quadrant jump,in the the control group show apparent difference(P<0.01),and there is no significant difference(P>0.05)in the events sit and reach,1 minute rope skipping,one-foot standing with eyes closed.4.Cognitive function index: after the experiment,the attention Trial A Between the two groups show significant difference(P<0.05)and there is very significant difference(P <0.01)in the simple reaction time,attention Trial B,spatial memory,digit symbol code and digit span between these groups.The indicators before and after the experiment of the experimental group are very significantly different(P<0.01).Simple reaction time attention Trial A of the control group before and after the experiment show very significant difference(P<0.01),while the attention Trial B,symbol encoding,spatial memory,digit symbol code and digit span are no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.The 12 week rope skipping has no obvious effect on pupils' body shape.In the aspect of Physical function,it enhances the cardiopulmonary function of primary school students,but there is no effect on quiet heart rate.In terms of physical quality,students' flexibility,coordination,endurance,balance and other physical qualities are improved.But there is no obvious impacts on students' speed,strength and flexibility.2.The 12 week rope skipping exercise has a very significant effect on pupils' complex cognitive processing speed,spatial position,memory span,learning new connection ability,short-term memory and attention,but has little influence on pupils' physical reaction ability and simple cognitive processing speed.
